Project Manager – Main Contractor – Cork

AA Euro Group are proud to partner with a Leading Main Contractor to recruit an experienced

Project Manager for major construction projects located in Fermoy and Youghal, Co. Cork. The

successful candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered

on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage day-to-day project operations on-site from initiation through to completion.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team.

Drive project timelines, budgetary control, and quality assurance.

Manage site staff, subcontractors, and direct labour.

Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and address any issues that arise.

Conduct regular site meetings and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.

Contribute to project planning, resourcing, and procurement strategies.

Requirements:

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Project Manager role with a main contractor.

Proven experience managing medium to large-scale construction projects.

Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction best practices.

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.

Full Irish driving licence

Desirable:

Experience delivering projects in the Munster region.

Chartered or working towards chartership is an advantage.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Procore, or similar).
