Senior Business Development Executive - Payments

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive for a top payments company in Ireland. This role is very flexible on remote work and will need someone strong in the payments space

Deep cross border and FX payments expertise is essential as the successful candidate will identify, pursue and win new partner/client opportunities and expand distribution channels across Europe and more broadly.

Responsibilities:

• New Business Acquisition, Market Expansion and Revenue Generation to Identify, new business opportunities for strategic partnerships, payment processors, aggregators and acquirers. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver dynamic cross-border payment solutions.
• Report on the status of market trends, pipeline, customer satisfaction and revenue performance. Develop proposals, lead pitches, and close deals with high-profile clients and partners.
• Lead and deliver any RFP/proposal processes, pricing exercises, and coordinate contract activities. Devise and negotiate commercial proposals for partner and client acquisition.
• Identify multi-product Payment’s opportunities aligned with the complex needs of the market/client base.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
• Leverage existing network to initiate and build relationships with key partners, including banks, payment processors, acquirers and global aggregators.
• Negotiate partnership agreements and strategic alliances that drive value and expand payment offerings.
• Work closely with product and technology teams to influence the roadmap of cross-border payment solutions based on client feedback and market trends.
• Identify key product features and improvements needed to stay competitive and address regulatory requirements in different regions.

Experience Required:

• Consultative B2B sales and business development experience obtained whilst working in a cross-border/international payments/FX payments arena.
• Experience of working with financial institutions, corporates and payment service providers.
• Demonstrable track record selling to partners, strategic clients and building profitable / mutually beneficial
