Job Summary Due to the continued expansion and success of the business, we are now seeking an Residential Operations Manager to join our residential operations team. As Residential Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of residential solar panel installation projects, from planning through to completion and final sign-off. You will lead and manage the performance of your team, both individually and collectively, ensuring high standards across all operations. Working closely with our project coordinators and scheduling team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of installations. You will also be accountable for stock management and for continuously improving procedures to optimise workflow and overall team efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director, senior leadership team, AEI colleagues, sub-contractors, and our suppliers to ensure successful delivery of each project. The role is based in Dublin, mostly office based and Hybrid working options will be considered. This role will be based in our Tullamore or Dublin office. Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement plans to ensure the Solar PV installation plan runs smoothly.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
- Liaise with installers to ensure all our health and safety measures are implemented.
- Collaborate with our sales manager(s), to ensure we have capacity to handle upcoming projects.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on project status, performance, and key metrics, flagging where there is a risk to completing a project.
- Ensure all people in our operations side of the business work together seamlessly
- Have regular one to ones with your team members
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards.
- Help to continue and shape our one team, safety first culture
What Are We Looking For
- Well organised and capable of working with multiple projects at one time.
- Technical experience from a trade or electrical / construction background is preferred.
- Experience in managing a team to achieve collective results.
- Project Management / Operations Management experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership potential, with a big emphasis on supporting and developing your team.
- Commercially astute and customer focused team player.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Previous experience in the solar / renewable energy sector is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate
