Night Manager Pre-Opening Team Moxy Dublin Docklands by Marriott Location: East Wharf, East Wall, Dublin 3 Are you ready to own the night? Moxy Dublin Docklands is preparing to light up the Docklandsand were looking for a Night Manager whos cool under pressure, thrives in the quiet hours, and knows how to keep the vibe alive even when the sun goes down. As part of our pre-opening team, youll help shape the overnight guest experience from the ground up. Youll be the go-to person for everything from late check-ins to unexpected hiccups, ensuring our guests feel safe, seen, and maybe even a little spoiled. What Youll Do Lead the night shift operations across Front Office, Security, and Guest Services. Be the face of Moxy after darkwelcoming guests, handling check-ins/check-outs, and resolving issues with flair. Monitor hotel activity and ensure safety, security, and brand standards are upheld. Conduct nightly audits and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support the setup and implementation of night procedures and systems during pre-opening. Coordinate with day teams to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of service. Be a calm, confident presence in emergencies or unexpected situations. Health & Safety Responsibilities Ensure all night operations comply with local health and safety regulations and Marriott brand standards. Conduct regular safety checks and maintain accurate logs of incidents or hazards. Act as the designated Fire Warden and First Aid responder during night shifts. Lead emergency response procedures and ensure all team members are trained and confident in their roles. Customer Care Focus Deliver exceptional guest service with warmth, empathy, and efficiency. Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset. Anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile to create memorable experiences. Schedule and manage wake-up calls to ensure guests start their day on time and with a smile. Champion the Moxy brand personalityfun, spirited, and always guest-focused. SOP Compliance & Review Regularly review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to night operations. Ensure all night team members are trained on current SOPs and updates are communicated promptly. Collaborate with department heads to identify gaps or improvements in procedures. Support the documentation and rollout of new SOPs during the pre-opening phase. Brand Standards & Flexibility Uphold Marriott and Moxy brand standards in every aspect of night operationsfrom guest interactions to presentation and reporting. Adapt to evolving operational needs during the pre-opening and launch phases. Demonstrate flexibility in duties, supporting other departments when needed to ensure smooth overnight operations. Embrace the dynamic, hands-on nature of a pre-opening environment with a proactive and positive attitude. Communication Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with all departments to ensure smooth overnight operations and effective handovers. Document and escalate any incidents, guest feedback, or operational issues as needed. Foster a culture of open communication and teamwork within the night team and across shifts. What You Bring Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial night role in hospitality. A natural problem-solver with a guest-first mindset. Strong communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with Opera or similar hotel systems is a plus. A cool head, a warm heart, and a sense of humour.
