We’re seeking a hands-on manager to lead our cozy guesthouse, vibrant bar, and exciting new food offerings, shaping a welcoming hub for locals and visitors.

What You’ll Do: As the driving force behind our operation, you’ll oversee the guesthouse, bar, and food services, ensuring every guest leaves delighted. Your role includes:
Guesthouse Management:
• Manage check-ins, check-outs, and bookings via online platforms or direct reservations, making guests feel right at home.
• Ensure rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable, and ready for arrivals.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues swiftly to maintain top satisfaction.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and health & safety compliance.
• Oversee housekeeping supplies and amenities to keep operations smooth.
Bar Management:
• Lead your team to deliver friendly, high-quality service that keeps customers returning.
• Manage bar stock, ordering, deliveries, and inventory to keep the bar buzzing.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant bar environment, meeting all licensing and health regulations.
• Create staff schedules to cover peak times and maintain a lively atmosphere.
• Plan engaging events or themed nights to boost customer draw.
Food Offerings Development:
• Design and introduce a small, appealing menu (e.g., light bites, pub classics, or local specialties) to complement the bar and guesthouse experience.
• Work with suppliers to source quality ingredients and manage food inventory.
• Ensure food preparation meets health, safety, and HACCP standards.
• Train staff to deliver consistent, high-quality food service.
• Experiment with seasonal or themed food offerings to attract guests and locals.
Business & Leadership:
• Train and motivate your small team to excel in service across all areas.
• Handle payments, cash flow, and daily/weekly reports on bookings, sales, and stock.
• Collaborate with suppliers to streamline operations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the business, from food menus to guest experiences, and implement your creative ideas.
What You Bring:
• Experience in hospitality management (guesthouse, bar, or food service experience a plus).
• A natural leader with strong people skills and the ability to juggle tasks in a busy setting.
• Familiarity with booking systems, POS tools, and basic kitchen operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends—hospitality is a 24/7 adventure!
• Knowledge of Ireland’s health, safety, HACCP, and licensing regulations.
