Our client is a leading provider of specialist engineering solutions, offering a full suite of services including design, fabrication, inspection, certification, and ongoing technical support. With a reputation for quality and precision, they partner with some of the most respected names in the pharmaceutical, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. As they continue to grow, they are now seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth across key industries.

The Role:

This is a true hunter role. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within large-scale industrial, pharma, and manufacturing organisations. Working closely with internal technical teams, you’ll provide clients with tailored engineering solutions that solve complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across the pharma, industrial, and manufacturing sectors

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth

• Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and procurement stakeholders

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver client-focused solutions

• Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and pipeline

• Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on sales activity and performance

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in B2B sales, ideally within engineering, technical services, or industrial solutions

• Proven track record of winning and growing new business in complex sales environments

• Strong network within the pharma, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is highly desirable

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Ability to work autonomously and drive results with minimal supervision

• Full clean driving licence
