Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Role Purpose:

• A new opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s busy pharmaceutical site based in Co. Tipperary.
• The Engineer will be supporting the Maintenance Strategy.
• Reporting to the Site Engineering Lead, the successful candidate will be a key player in the delivery of the new maintenance strategy.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop preventative maintenance schedules and SLA with vendors
• Ensure correct spare parts are available for continuous operation
• Support the development and registration of Equipment and Instrumentation registration on CMMS systems.
• Support of FAT’s, Project walkdowns, Commissioning and Documentation Handover.
• Develop SOP’s and WI for facility
• Support the validation of equipment in particular HVAC and Process Air
• Engineering metrics reporting and action planning.
• Continuous improvement through Digital and MPS (Tier, 8-step problem solving, standardisation etc.)

Education & Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Active listening skills and ability to integrate diverse perspectives.
• Timely decision making.
• Ability to respond to changing priorities.
• Experience of working in strongly regulated GMP environment.
