Automation / Controls Engineer
My client is looking for an experienced Automation / Controls Engineer to join their manufacturing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot automated production lines and investigate equipment downtime.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Assist with installation, commissioning and start-up of automation equipment.
- Support PLC, controls and system-level troubleshooting.
- Work across electrical, mechanical and software systems.
- Contribute to equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key requirements:
- Automation/Controls Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC experience is essential.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and supporting commissioning/testing.
- Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience is desirable.
- Cognex/Keyence, Beckhoff, robotics, motion control or Ignition experience is advantageous.
