Part Qualified Accountant

Our client is a highly specialised Irish company with operations across Europe. Due to continued growth, the Irish HQ is seeking a part-qualified accountant to join the finance team. The successful candidate will support in maintaining accurate financial records, drafting reports and assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks while gaining practical experience and support in achieving their professional accounting qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
• Support with accounts consolidation, management of intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing compliance.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain and update financial records within accounting systems.
• Assist in both internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with other departments to gather and verify financial data.
• Participate in training and development activities related to professional accounting qualifications.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure all group reporting deadlines are achieved.

• Key Skills
• Working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
