At AECOM , we are currently seeking an Associte Project Manager:Data Centers to join our Dublin office. The Opportunity As an Associate Project Manager specialising in data centres and colocation facilities, you will support the successful delivery of mission-critical projects. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle — from early-stage concept and design development through procurement, construction, and commissioning — ensuring projects meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversees a portfolio of clients delivering multiple concurrent data center projects.
- Drives revenue growth through repeat business by ensuring consistent, high-quality project execution.
- Achieves and maintains targeted profit margins across all assigned projects.
- Delivers projects without financial write-downs or margin erosion.
- Manages projects involving Risk Triggering Factors (RTFs), proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
- Leads complex client engagements and high-value, technically demanding projects.
- Exercises decision-making authority to guide project teams in identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Directs teams to operate efficiently while minimizing exposure to contractual claims.
- Supervises and mentors Project Managers overseeing multiple projects or large-scale programs.
QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For The successful candidate will bring experience within the buildings sector, along with the following qualifications and professional credentials:
- A postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
- Currently working towards Chartered status with one of the following professional bodies: RICS / CIOB / ICE / RIBA / Engineers Ireland
- Membership or affiliation with APM would be advantageous
