What is the role?
This high-impact, globally oriented role is designed for a commercially-minded leader ready to drive sales performance across Aerogen’s rapidly scaling international business. The Global Sales Enablement & Excellence Manager will act as a key connector between field teams, commercial leadership, and customers, ensuring the consistency, effectiveness, and strategic alignment of sales execution globally.
With visibility to senior executives and influence across all commercial regions, this role is ideal for a high-potential individual who combines structured thinking, strong sales intuition, and a passion for driving commercial excellence through cross-functional collaboration, field engagement, and performance improvement.
The purpose of the role is:
- Ensure customer-relevant, high-impact delivery of Aerogen’s commercial, clinical, and sales messaging across global sales teams and partners.
- Improve executional consistency in the field through training, KPI alignment, incentive design, and field team support.
- Lead innovation in sales excellence, integrating new tools, data insights, education modalities, and account strategies to enhance team effectiveness.
- Benchmark global best practices and embed standards across Aerogen’s regions and leadership teams.
What are the key responsibilities?
- Design and implement Aerogen’s global sales enablement strategy in alignment with commercial priorities and regional maturity.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Education, Product, and regional teams to ensure unified field engagement and messaging.
- Lead field readiness programs that support effective onboarding, skill development, and territory execution.
- Create structured feedback loops between customer-facing teams and internal stakeholders to refine engagement strategies and materials.
- Administer all Seismic tools, build performance dashboards and KPI tracking tools to support data-driven coaching and leadership decisions.
- Project manage integration, implementation, testing, content population and utilisation of all new Seismic tools.
- Represent the voice of the sales team in strategic discussions and capability-building initiatives.
- Partner with Commercial and Executive Leadership to align on performance standards, market execution frameworks, and go-to-market consistency.
What education and experience are required?
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in sales enablement, commercial excellence, sales operations, or strategic GTM roles (preferably in MedTech or consulting).
- Experience in medical device sales and in the respiratory disease therapy area are is preferable but not essential.
- Experience with content management, especially in a B2B sales environment.
What key skills will make you great at the role?
- Familiarity with sales methodologies, preferably the Challenger Sales Approach
- Demonstrated experience in training design, sales enablement tools implementation and administration (Seismic preferred)
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with fluency in KPI tracking and performance storytelling.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills; able to influence across functions and levels.
- Proven ability to execute within a matrix environment across regions and disciplines.
- High drive and ambition with potential for career advancement based on success in role.
- Open to travel 40% of the time
- This role is preferably based in Galway, Ireland but other US and central European locations are negotiable.
