Process Technical Lead

Job Title: Process Technical Lead

Department: Production Nenagh

Reports To: Site Manager

Role Purpose

The Process Technical Lead is responsible for driving operational excellence, training, technical capability, process commissioning and optimization across the site. The role provides technical leadership and process support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production performance, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.

The role will provide technical and operational support across the following areas, including but not limited to:

All TVR and MVR Evaporator Systems

Spray Dryers and Spray Drying Systems

Separation

Butter

Casein and Caseinates

Whey Processing Systems, including Membrane Plants

You will act as a key link between operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, capital projects, and site leadership teams to improve plant reliability, operational standards, product quality, efficiency, and workforce capability.

Reduction in process losses and downtime

Operator competency development

Continuous improvement project delivery

Site KPI improvements

Energy and utility optimization

Training completion and effectiveness

Commissioning and Validation

Qualifications

A relevant third-level qualification in food, dairy, engineering, manufacturing or a related discipline is preferred, together with production or operations experience in the Dairy sector.

Strong knowledge of health and safety, food safety, HACCP, quality systems, GMP and environmental compliance, with proven capability in Lean improvement, structured problem-solving and statistical data analysis.
