The Opportunity

Join Arup as a Graduate Environmental Consultant and help shape projects that respond positively to environmental and sustainability challenges. You will contribute to the assessment of environmental effects associated with infrastructure and development projects, helping clients make informed decisions and achieve responsible outcomes.

Working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will support environmental impact assessments, research, data analysis and technical reporting. You will engage with colleagues across environmental science, ecology, engineering and planning, gaining exposure to different specialisms and stages of the project lifecycle.

From your first day, you will be supported to develop your technical knowledge and consulting skills. You will have opportunities to ask questions, explore new ideas and contribute to work that benefits clients, communities and the environment.

Is this role right for you?

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

An Undergraduate Or Bachelor's Degree (or Equivalent) In

  • Environmental Science
  • Environmental Engineering; or
  • Ecology & Conservation
  • Other similar qualification

The Following Would Be An Advantage

  • Knowledge of Environmental impact assessment
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • MS Word & Excel
  • Technical excellence
  • Curious mindset
  • Problem solving ability

To Be Considered For a Graduate Opportunity, Your Application Must Include a Copy Of Your Academic Transcript And Meet The Following Criteria

  • Full working rights in the country of application
  • No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role
  • Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.

Eligibility

We're able to consider candidates who require an employment permit to work in Ireland, where the role and offered salary meet the Irish Government's eligibility criteria (for example, under the Critical Skills or General Employment Permit schemes). All Employment Permits are granted at the discretion of the Deciding Officer with offers contingent to obtaining the correct immigration to work and reside in Ireland.
