Project Manager

About The Role Avonmore is a multidisciplinary Engineering company based in North Cork. The successful candidate will work within our Engineering Department and play a pivotal role in overseeing engineering projects across the industrial and water industries. A strong emphasis is placed on your ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver high-quality projects and services. Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or related Engineering Discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a project engineering role.
• Proven track record in project leadership, process optimisation, and maintenance best practices.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with hands-on experience using ERP systems to support data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Duties will include

• Manage and coordinate engineering and maintenance projects from concept to completion, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop project budgets, forecast revenues, and monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Carry out detailed site assessments to define scope, risks, and requirements, and prepare accurate budgets and proposals for submission.
• Prepare, review, and execute tender documentation, quotations, and commercial proposals. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, clearly defining the scope of work and providing regular updates throughout project delivery.
• Ensure all procurement activities are planned, ordered, and tracked in line with project timelines and budgets.
• Visit customer sites to support tendering and business development activities, promote service offerings, and identify opportunities.
