Senior Group Accountant - South Dublin
Our client is a well-established, Dublin headquartered business that recently became part of a larger international group. They are looking for a qualified accountant to join their group finance team on a permanent basis as a Senior Group Accountant.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The group is building out its financial reporting team for the next phase of integration. This is a hands-on, technical role in a large multi-entity group, with significant project work to come.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparing month-end and group reporting;
- Preparing statutory financial statements across a large number of entities;
- Supporting the group consolidation process;
- Researching and applying accounting standards as technical issues arise;
- Contributing to integration and process improvement projects.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accountant with 1 year+ PQE (ACA, ACCA or CIMA);
- Consolidation or group audit experience a strong advantage;
- Strong technical knowledge and a genuine interest in technical accounting;
- A self-starter and a strong communicator.
