KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure month-end close is completed by Day 5 of each month and provide insightful analysis of key variances to the CFM.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain consistent, clear records for review by the CFM.
  • Manage audit engagements with statutory auditors across regions, ensuring timely completion of annual audits and corporation tax requirements.
  • Reconcile management accounts to statutory/financial accounts.
  • Deliver accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Prepare reports for the CFM to support key financial and business decisions.
  • Develop and compile the monthly management reporting pack to support the CFM.
  • Play a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, with a focus on cost management.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and support margin improvement initiatives.
  • Recognize potential risk areas within the finance function and recommend appropriate controls to the CFM and FD.
  • Support the wider finance team with general ledger queries and compliance with tax and reporting regulations.
  • Act as a strong Finance Business Partner for other departments and the senior management team.
  • Review key inventory variances promptly and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Conduct periodic warehouse inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Develop cash flow forecasting templates for all company-held currencies.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
  • 0–2 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong planning and analytical skills to manage the broad scope of responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Infor is desirable
