Fund Operations Manager
We are currently working with a leading financial services company that is looking to add an experienced professional to their growing Fund Operations team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in fund accounting, fund operations, investment operations or financial services who is looking to build on their experience within the aircraft leasing industry.
Working closely with internal teams across Finance, Operations, Tax, Legal and Treasury, you will play a key role in supporting the financial and operational activity across a portfolio of investments and entities, while gaining exposure to the wider aviation finance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of capital calls, distributions and other portfolio transactions
- Processing and reviewing transactions across the portfolio, including cash movements, investments, sales and distributions
- Supporting the administration and monitoring of financing arrangements, including lender correspondence and reporting requirements
- Overseeing management fee calculations and related reporting
- Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Supporting the annual external audit process and liaising with auditors
- Reviewing monthly account analyses, reconciliations and financial information
- Supporting portfolio reporting and the preparation of management information
- Assisting with financial modelling and analysis across the portfolio
- Working with internal teams to improve processes, reporting and operational efficiency
- Preparing ad hoc analysis and reports as required
- Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal and Operations
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in fund operations, fund accounting, investment operations, accounting or a similar financial services environment
- Experience within aircraft leasing, aviation finance, private equity, asset management or fund administration would be advantageous
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex transactions and structures
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial or fund administration systems
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working with a high degree of responsibility
- Commercially minded with strong problem-solving skills
- A genuine interest in developing a career within fund operations and aviation finance
