Technical Support Associate – Norwegian Speaker | Galway City | Hybrid Our client, a globally leading company in medical technology and healthcare, is seeking a motivated Technical Support Associate fluent in Norwegian to join their team in Galway, Ireland. This is a permanent full-time position based primarily on-site in Galway City, reporting directly to the EMEA/APAC Technical Support Team Lead. Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and friendly support by handling inbound customer calls and emails in Norwegian and English.
  • Act as the first technical point of contact: analyze and resolve customer queries and complaints related to the assigned product portfolio.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately according to internal standards.
  • Clearly communicate investigation findings and solutions to customers via phone and written correspondence.
  • Prioritize and manage customer inquiries in shared mailboxes according to company processes.
  • Ensure timely response and resolution to meet individual, team, and company KPIs.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to enhance the customer experience.
  • Build and maintain product knowledge and share expertise within the team.

Your Profile:

  • Completed education, certificate, or degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, biomedical, healthcare, nursing, engineering) is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing role is beneficial.
  • Full professional fluency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
  • Ideally at least 1 year of experience in a medical/clinical environment or technical support role.
  • Strong analytical skills, structured working method, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience handling complex customer issues and technical troubleshooting.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, team player, and adaptable.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks independently and take responsibility.
