Finance Business Partner (Dublin | Travel Required)

The Role
This Finance Business Partner role is a standout opportunity to take ownership of the finance function for a rapidly expanding Energy Division-combining commercial influence, M&A exposure, and a clear path to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to senior leadership, driving performance and influencing decision-making
  • Own the division's P&L, cashflow, budgets, and forecasts, providing clear insights and recommendations
  • Lead financial integration of acquisitions and support ongoing M&A activity
  • Deliver robust reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking across projects and entities
  • Partner with operational teams to improve profitability, working capital, and commercial outcomes

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years PQE
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
  • Experience in project-based industries (energy, infrastructure, construction, or similar) desirable
  • Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable, driven, and comfortable working across multiple locations and priorities

The role is based onsite in Dublin (Baldonnell) initially, with regular travel to Kilkenny, flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week after probation. You'll join a collaborative, high-growth environment with strong leadership support, real career progression, and the chance to shape a key division's future.
