🌍 Now Hiring: Manufacturing Data Remediation Specialist (Waterford, Ireland | Onsite)
Can you trace any process value back to the exact batch, phase and piece of equipment it came from, in a way an inspector would accept? EFOR Group, a trusted Life Sciences consulting partner, is looking for a Manufacturing Data Remediation Specialist to join a global pharmaceutical manufacturer in Waterford. The role is part of a network-wide Continued Process Verification (CPV) programme, working with the site’s Smart Factory and MSAT teams. You’ll make process and batch data reliable, traceable and ready for trending.
What you’ll do:
- Map CPV data requirements to source systems: batch records, MES/eBR, process historian and ERP
- Assess the completeness, accuracy and integrity of manufacturing data, then log and prioritise gaps
- Define and carry out remediation: data cleansing, backfill from source records, and standard parameter naming and units
- Prepare data for contextualisation (batch, phase and equipment hierarchy) and support loading into the site’s digital trending platform
- Document source-to-target mapping and the rationale for each fix to GMP data integrity standards
- Coordinate the daily data work of two junior CPV Production Support consultants
Your background:
- Degree in Process, Chemical, Automation or Computer Engineering, Data Science or similar
- 3–6 years in pharma manufacturing data, MES, automation or digital manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with MES/eBR, process historians (e.g. AVEVA/OSIsoft PI) and data lakes
- Strong knowledge of data integrity (ALCOA+), EU GMP Annex 11 / 21 CFR Part 11, and an awareness of computerised system validation
- An understanding of how batch data supports CPV and product quality reviews
- ISA-88 / ISA-95 data modelling knowledge is a strong plus; SQL, Python or Power BI is a plus
- Analytical and autonomous, able to guide junior colleagues, and comfortable working across OT/IT, Production and Quality
