Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Device Driver / C / ARM
I'm partnered with a leading semiconductor company with their HQ in Cork, and they are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their SoC Infrastructure team, working 100% onsite.
This is a hands-on embedded software role focused on low-level device driver development, working at the hardware/software interface across ARM and DSP-based platforms.
The role:
You'll be developing and maintaining device drivers for hardware components including digital clocks, voltage regulators, GPIOs and interrupts. You'll work closely with hardware design teams to develop and improve hardware/software interfaces, alongside building automation and tooling in Python.
Requirements:
- Experience in embedded software development using C
- Python programming experience
- Understanding of ARM, DSP or SoC architectures
- Experience working close to hardware and software interfaces
Nice to have:
- Lauterbach Trace32 or JTAG debugging
- ARM or RISC-V architecture
- Power management software
- Qualcomm platform experience
