Scrum Master

Our Dublin based client are looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Lead to join their team on a daily rate contract basis

Position is with a well known organization that have a significant program of work to deliver over the next 2-4 years

Looking for a person who has strong ability to guide and influence on appropriate Agile methodologies and must have experience in coaching and leading Agile at scale across multiple teams

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitation of agile ceremonies including daily Scrum, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint planning sessions.
• Proven track record of building and motivating teams within an agile environment.
• Track and maintain Agile team metrics to drive continuous improvement within your teams.
• Coach teams in self-management, continuous learning and cross-functional collaboration.
• Assist the Product Owner in effective backlog management, planning in a complex environment and ensuring Product items are clear and concise
• Encourage and foster an environment where continuous improvement occurs within your teams
• Coaching and mentoring on agile best practices and methodologies.
• Help the organisation improve its understanding, adoption and implementation of agile best practices
• Show flexibility in working with changing requirements and priorities, while managing own task list and time
• Build strong relationships both within and across teams and other functional areas. stakeholders.
• Good understanding of System Architecture and software development practices and tools.

Project & Delivery Oversight

• Manage budgets, time-tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment with Finance, PMO, and funding requirements
• Track and communicate progress across Epics, Features, and Stories using agile metrics like burn-downs and backlog insights
• Produce accurate spend forecasts and release plans based on velocity, resource allocation, and story point estimates
