As part of our site based Projects division, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and promoting Safety practices across a leading Pharmaceutical facility and

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all site operations and works are carried out at all times in compliance with the site health and safety standards.
• Identify non-routine tasks and ensure associated risk assessments are completed.
• Method statements
• Identify opportunities for improvement and coordinate with local safety champions/management to bring forward improvement projects
• Manage site safety training records
• HAZOP participation
• Investigate incidents and close out as required
• Assisting site management with all aspects of the day to day co-ordinating of site activities
• Conduct weekly safety audits
• Review EHS Documentation
• Liaise with other members of the EHS department to ensure transfer of best practices are shared. Help develop team goals and objectives, including strategies for implementation, measuring and reporting.

Requirements

• 3-5 years plus experience within a similar Safety (EHS) position.
• Relevant Degree qualification in EHS / Safety Management or equivalent.
• Previous hands on experience managing site safety within a construction environment or a production / manufacturing facility.
• Have a good understanding and knowledge of relevant Safety (EHS) legislation.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
