Project Manager - Medical Device

Project Manager (Medical Devices)Location & Work Mode:

• Based in Galway, Ireland
• Permanent role with a hybrid work arrangement

Job Purpose:

The Project Manager will lead various projects, including:

• Product or technology development.
• Moderate-sized site transfers/acquisitions.
• Acting as a site representative for broader global projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead medium/large cross-functional teams.
• Manage technical challenges, risks, and solutions in technology application and product development.
• Develop, implement, and monitor project plans and budgets.
• Build team ownership and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
• Follow applicable project roadmaps (e.g., NPI, product transfer).
• Represent Operations in phase reviews and ensure adherence to policies.
• Conduct business reviews and maintain project documentation (e.g., minutes, metrics).

Skills & Requirements:Essential:

• Strong experience managing large, complex, cross-functional or multisite projects.
• Leadership in change and project management.
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and people management skills.

Education:

• Level 8 Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Science, Software, or Manufacturing).
• 5+ years of project management in Operations or New Product Development.
• Medical device experience preferred.

Desirable:

• Level 9 Master’s degree or Project Management qualification.

Additional Information:

• Travel to other sites may be required.
