Construction Foreman

Foreman – Carrigtwohill, Cork8–12 Weeks Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee remedial works on the roof of a key interconnector building in Cork. This is a contract role with an expected duration of 8–12 weeks.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing site operations, coordinating labour, and ensuring smooth delivery of works on site. While a roofing background is not essential, strong organisational and communication skills are crucial.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and labour management
• Order and manage materials in line with project requirements
• Liaise with the client, represent the company in meetings, and maintain strong working relationships
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards on site
• Handle project-related paperwork and reporting
• Coordinate with management to ensure works are delivered on time and to a high standard

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to manage labour resources effectively
• Confident in liaising with clients and attending progress meetings
• Good IT and paperwork management skills
• Health & Safety awareness
