Commercial Finance Administrator
About The Role
Leo Lynch is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Finance Assistant to join our team. This role will support the Project Controls and Commercial Finance function, with responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of subcontractor costs, account administration, invoicing and expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, record and process subcontractor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Set up and maintain subcontractor accounts and associated records.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of subcontractor payment runs.
- Perform subcontractor account reconciliations.
- Assist with customer invoicing and supporting project billing requirements.
- Review employee expense claims for accuracy, confirm appropriate supporting documentation and compliance with company policy.
- Provide additional administrative and finance support as required.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Good numerical, organisational and administrative skills.
- Comfortable working with invoices, reconciliations and financial information.
- Good communication skills and confidence liaising with both internal teams and external subcontractors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning financial/project systems.
- Previous experience in construction, engineering, accounts payable or project administration would be an advantage, but is not essential.
