Manufacturing Engineer – Medical Devices (Catheter Technology)

An innovative and growing medical device company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work hands-on in a multidisciplinary environment, supporting both manufacturing process development and device design for catheter-based technologies that improve patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Support the development and improvement of manufacturing processes
• Assist with builds for testing, clinical studies, and commercial use
• Help verify and validate new product designs and processes
• Rapidly prototype product and fixture concepts using standard catheter-building techniques, including 3D printing
• Model and analyse mechanical systems using SolidWorks or similar CAD software
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for materials, processes, and equipment
• Prepare project documentation, specifications, and schedules
• Contribute to intellectual property where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in the medical device industry (manufacturing experience advantageous)
• Hands-on, practical engineering mindset
• Experience with medical device polymers (catheter experience advantageous)
• Familiarity with process development and validation principles
• SolidWorks or equivalent CAD proficiency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team-oriented, collaborative approach and commitment to continuous learning
