About Us

LP3 is a land, property, and project management consultancy based in Galway, operating nationwide across Ireland. We specialize in delivering comprehensive solutions for large-scale renewable energy projects. As our pipeline of work grows, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and oversee the development of early-stage renewable energy projects, from land acquisition to planning consent.

Role Overview

As a Project Manager at LP3, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle during the early stages of renewable energy developments. This includes overseeing land acquisition, managing stakeholder relationships, and coordinating early-stage environmental work, such as feasibility studies and environmental surveys. You will work closely with landowners, clients, and environmental professionals to reduce project risk and ensure successful progress toward planning consent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of renewable energy sites targeting land acquisition and development milestones.
  • Manage landowner agreements and ensure legal completion of contracts.
  • Coordinate with clients on project strategy and provide oversight throughout key project phases.
  • Initiate and manage early-stage environmental surveys, site design, and feasibility studies.
  • Collaborate with environmental consultants, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Mitigate project risks and drive projects forward, ensuring all activities are completed on time and within budget.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in renewable energy, environmental planning, development, or the property sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in a relevant field such as renewable energy, planning, or environmental management.
  • Strong understanding of the risks associated with renewable energy projects across their life cycle.
  • Experience interacting with legal professionals and managing commercial negotiations.
  • Proven track record of budget management and financial oversight for development projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the flexibility and foresight needed to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Proficiency in map reading; GIS experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to travel across Ireland as needed.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency with MS Office.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary (based on experience).
  • Performance-related bonuses.
  • Flexible working arrangements, including the ability to work from home.
  • Company events and pension contributions.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development in the renewable energy sector.
  • Access to learning resources, training programs, and challenging projects at the cutting edge of renewable energy and environmental planning.
  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities.

Job Details

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Location: Remote, with travel throughout Ireland
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Experience: 5 years in Renewable Energy, Environmental Planning, or Property Development (preferred)
  • Language: Fluent English (required)
