Overview of role:

  • Become part of a growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementation
  • Machine control system software design, development & commissioning
  • A great opportunity to gain varied experience in the design of high-tech engineering applications

Main Tasks:

  • Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision
  • Develop, test, commission & support machine control software
  • Design of equipment to CE, electrical, machinery safety and clients’ standards
  • Interpret & develop design & validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc)
  • Specification of control system components
  • Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle

Experience:

  • 3yrs+ experience in Equipment Automation
  • PLC & HMI experience desirable, preferably with Allen Bradley
  • Knowledge of automated machine design, specification & development
  • Ability to create technical documentation
  • Familiarity with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics an advantage

  • Driving Licence and ability to travel
