About the role

Murphy is recruiting for a Project Support Administrator to join our growing Water team supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects across Ireland under the Uisce Éireann Engineering, Consultancy and Infrastructure (ECI) Framework.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially aware administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment. The successful candidate will provide project coordination, reporting, financial administration and document control support across a portfolio of important water and wastewater projects.

The Project Support Administrator will play a key role in supporting project teams, ensuring project information, reporting and administrative processes are maintained to a high standard throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day project administration.
  • Coordinate project meetings, workshops and design reviews.
  • Issue meeting agendas, record minutes and track actions.
  • Maintain project trackers, actions logs and registers.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly project and performance reports.

Document Control & Information Management

  • Manage document control systems and Common Data Environments (CDE).
  • Maintain project correspondence and document registers.
  • Ensure project documentation complies with Murphy and industry standards.
  • Support the efficient distribution and storage of project information.

Commercial & Financial Administration

  • Assist with timesheet collation and labour allocation records.
  • Maintain project cost trackers and expenditure records.
  • Support the preparation of payment applications and supporting documentation.
  • Track purchase orders, invoices and supplier information.
  • Maintain risk and opportunity registers.

Reporting & Governance

  • Produce KPI reports and performance dashboards.
  • Maintain programme and project progress trackers.
  • Track key framework deliverables and submission deadlines.
  • Support governance reviews and project approvals.
  • Assist with the preparation of project business cases and supporting documentation.

Project Controls Support

  • Update project schedules and progress trackers.
  • Maintain project change logs.
  • Track actions arising from design and project reviews.
  • Monitor key project milestones and deliverables.
  • Support procurement and supply chain administration activities.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' administration experience within construction, engineering, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong financial, commercial or business administration experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using document management systems.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a number of projects.
  • Experience supporting project delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • Experience working on water, wastewater or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Uisce Éireann processes and standards.
  • Experience using:
    • SharePoint
    • Power BI
    • Microsoft Project
    • Oracle
