Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop cutting-edge features for our flagship storage operating system, collaborate with cross-functional teams, tackle complex challenges, and contribute to both existing product enhancements and new development.

Essential Functions
- Design and develop innovative features for NetApp’s storage operating system.
- Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including debugging, testing, and customer support.
- Resolve engineering challenges and address escalations effectively.
- Work collaboratively with other peer team members and other teams on the product like QA, Systemic Test Engineering support and other dependent engineering teams to understand customer use cases, deliver solutions and bring in the value from those teams into work done within the team.
- Contribute to scalable, high-performance system software solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience in system-level software development with a focus on quality and performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related fields.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Unix/Linux system programming.
- Strong knowledge of OS internals, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
