Position Overview:

Ireland represents one of the fastest-growing technology and enterprise software markets in Europe, with a rapidly expanding SAP customer base and strong investment in digital transformation. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Account Executive to help expand our presence across the Irish market.

This role will focus on developing new business opportunities within the SAP ERP community, building strong relationships with customers, prospects and the wider SAP ecosystem. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of the SAP solution portfolio, a proven track record of enterprise sales, and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.

Working closely with our leadership, delivery and sales teams in the UK, the successful candidate will play a key role in building pipeline, closing strategic opportunities and supporting the long-term growth of our business in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the acquisition of new customers within the SAP ERP community across Ireland, focusing on organisations that are not currently customers.
  • Develop and execute account and territory strategies to generate pipeline and achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Present and articulate the value proposition of the SAP solutions portfolio, positioning the organisation as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SAP Ireland, the local partner ecosystem and key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through qualification, proposal development, negotiation and deal closure.
  • Collaborate closely with UK-based sales, delivery and leadership teams to ensure strong alignment on opportunity execution and customer engagement.
  • Participate in the pre-sales process and represent the organisation in SAP forums, industry events, seminars and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop account plans and go-to-market strategies to support both existing accounts and new logo acquisition.
  • Provide opportunity qualification, proposition development, demonstration coordination and bid management to support successful deal closure.
  • Track and report on pipeline health and sales progress, identifying risks and implementing actions to maintain momentum.
  • Work closely with SAP Mid-Market and Lower Large Enterprise teams to ensure alignment of strategy and maximise SAP engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and reporting requirements, including accurate sales documentation and forecasting.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in enterprise software sales, with a strong track record of acquiring new customers and delivering against revenue targets.
  • Experience selling solutions and services within the SAP ecosystem, with a solid understanding of the SAP ERP landscape.
  • Demonstrated success selling complex transformation programmes, including SAP modernisation and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of SAP technologies such as ECC, S/4HANA, HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experience managing the full enterprise sales lifecycle, from opportunity creation and qualification through to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including CIOs, CFOs and other C-suite leaders.
  • Experience collaborating with pre-sales, delivery teams and strategic partners to develop compelling customer propositions.
  • Knowledge of the Irish enterprise technology market and experience engaging with local SAP communities or partner ecosystems is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
