Sales Manager

Job description:

OK Tool Hire, a Cork City based company has an exciting and challenging role for a Field Sales Rep/Manager. The successful candidate will promote and sell our range of access, plant machinery and tools to existing customers as well as actively develop new hire business. The role will also require:

Key Responsibilities:

• Account management
• Compile activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Generate customer quotes and follow up correspondence
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Promote and sell all services provided by the company: hire and sales, training and maintenance
• Recommend changes in machinery, service, and policy by evaluating results/ customer needs and competitive developments.
• Visit construction sites, local business, factories, main contractors and sub-contractors
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Candidate:

• Proven work experience as a Field Sales Representative
• A working knowledge of the construction & building industry.
• Used to being out on the road
• Works on own initiative
• Strong PC skills with an excellent telephone manner
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Sales and customer focused with very strong account management skills
• Knowledge of access machines or plant equipment would be a distinct advantage
• Full, clean driving licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €45,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
