Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dublin 15 for a Childcare Manager at Once Upon a Time. The Childcare Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and standards. Responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children, coordinating educational and play activities, building relationships with parents and families, and fostering overall excellence in childcare services. The role also involves administrative tasks such as staff training, scheduling, and managing resources effectively.

Qualifications

  • Childcare management experience, with strong skills in leadership, team coordination, and staff development
  • Knowledge of early childhood development, childcare regulations, and Montessori educational practices
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Ability to foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Relevant childcare qualifications and certifications, including adherence to Early Childhood Ireland standards
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling and resource management
  • First Aid and Safeguarding training would be advantageous
  • Level 7/8 in Childcare essential
