BIM Coordinator

We are pleased to announce we are now looking for a BIM Coordinator to join their rapidly expanding team.

Please note there is no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance on offer. Candidates must have the appropriate working visa/EU Passport and be within commuting distance to Dublin to be eligible for the role.

Role Purpose

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining federated BIM models throughout project design and construction. Acting as the bridge between design teams, site staff, and the BIM Manager, you will ensure deliverables meet agreed standards, workflows, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain discipline-specific and federated BIM models in line with ISO 19650 and project BIM Execution Plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models, resolve clashes, and participate in coordination meetings.
• Produce detailed M&E installation drawings, diagrams, and related documentation.
• Conduct QA/QC checks, support as-built model delivery, and compile COBie handover data.
• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Support site teams with BIM queries and incorporate field data into models.
• Maintain compliance with agreed conventions and metadata standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to ongoing BIM strategy development.

About You

• Qualification or trade background in M&E (preferred).
• 3–5 years’ BIM coordination experience, ideally on medium to large M&E projects.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD; familiarity with Plant 3D or CADworx advantageous.
• Skilled in federated modelling, clash detection, and CDE platforms (e.g., BIM 360/ACC, Procore).
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, AIM/PIM, and COBie deliverables.
• Strong communication, organisational, and collaboration skills.
