Role Overview

As the HR Manager for PDP by Efor (Ireland), you will play a central role in managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with Irish employment law, and supporting the coordination of HR and office administration functions across the region.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in HR processes who enjoys working in a fast-paced, growing international organization. You will act as a key liaison between the Operations, Business Development, and Talent Acquisition teams, helping to deliver efficient HR support and consistent employee experience.

HR Management

The successful candidate will lead the HR function within PDP by Efor in Ireland, taking ownership and responsibility for all HR activities under the Efor Group of companies in the region.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have responsibility for new offices in multiple regions, until such a time as those regions are self-sufficient. Those regions potentially include Germany, Spain, Italy, Denmark.

HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle

  • Prepare and tailor employment contracts, offer letters, amendments, and formal HR documentation.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including induction, documentation, and exit administration.
  • Maintain and update employee files, HR databases, and digital records in line with GDPR compliance.
  • Track and report on employee data (joiners, leavers, absences, annual leave, etc.) and ensure data integrity across systems

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation, data protection requirements, and internal company policies.
  • Administer work permit and visa processes for employees and contractors, liaising with relevant authorities where necessary.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews, maintaining up-to-date HR templates, registers, and policies.

HR Systems, Reporting & Communication

  • Use HR systems and trackers to generate reports for management.
  • Prepare periodic HR metrics and dashboards for Operations and Group HR teams.
  • Lead internal HR communications, respond promptly to employee queries, and support management with formal correspondence.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and internal communications campaigns.
  • Help foster a positive, compliant, and performance-driven workplace culture.

Office & Operational Support

  • Assist Operations with general office administration and coordination of support services (facilities, reporting, communications).
  • Liaise with internal departments (Finance, Talent Acquisition, Business Development) to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related discipline. CIPD Level 5 or higher (or working towards it) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years of relevant HR experience, ideally within a multinational or multi-site organisation.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Irish employment law, HR compliance, and visa/work permit processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., HR Locker, Workday, or equivalent).
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities with the capacity to handle confidential information.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing competing priorities.
