Claims Handler – Insurance | €40–43K | Hybrid Dublin

Hybrid model: after training, typically 2–3 days in the office (flexible by agreement)

The successful candidate will report directly to the Claims Operations Manager and play a key role in providing excellent service to brokers, customers, and insurers.

Day to day:

• Handle FNOL claims from initial notification through to settlement
• Manage daily claims post, notifications, processing, and calls
• Ensure timely logging of claims, reserves, amendments, and payments
• Support the preparation of monthly reports and assist with insurer audits
• Appoint and liaise with approved experts (repairers, loss adjusters, engineers, medical and legal professionals)
• Settle claims efficiently, aiming for early resolution where possible

Your profile:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant FNOL claims handling experience
• APA Insurance qualification (or working towards it) – essential for long-term progression.
• (This keeps the bar but opens the door a bit wider.)Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
• Team-focused, proactive, and customer-oriented

Package:

• Salary: €40,000 – €43,000 per year (depending on experience)
