Management Accountant

We are presently recruiting for a Management Accountant for our clients, near Tralee, County Kerry. The company in question specalise in renewable energy. You will be focal point in all aspects of Financial operations, will track project costs, prepare budgets and forecasts, analyses financial performance, supports funding and grant reporting, and provides insights to improve efficiency. This is a full time position based near Tralee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed analysis of key performance areas
• Monitor project and operational costs, ensuring efficiency and value for money
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles in collaboration with project and operations teams
• Track KPIs and produce dashboards to support informed decision-making
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate key financial trends
• Support grant and funding reporting for sustainable energy projects
• Maintain and improve financial models and internal controls
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders
• Assist in streamlining financial systems and supporting process improvements

Experiences and skills:

• 2+ years PQE experience
• Hold relevant accountant qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and cost control
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
