Practice Accountant

A full-time permanent position for a Senior Accountant in Practice is available in County Kerry. We are looking to recruit a qualified CPA/ACA/ACCA accountant with 3 years + Practice experience. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and be responsible for client’s Accounts. You will work closely with company Partners, Tax Manager and Administration Departments to deliver a client centred service to a well-established practice. The practice in question are interested in speaking with people with specific experience in Audit, Tax, advisory and general practice. This is a permanent position with a hybrid working week option if required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts for a diverse client portfolio.
• Provide strategic financial advice to clients, helping them optimize their financial performance.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
• Utilize accounting software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Stay informed on changes in accounting standards, tax legislation, and industry best practices.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and support.

Requirements:

• Third level Degree
• CPA/ACCA/ACA Accounting Qualification.
• The suitable candidate will need to have experience in a practice environment.

The salary and benefits for this position will be determined according to the experience of the successful candidate and in the region of €50 - €70,000, possibly higher with specific experiences. This is a full time, permanent position.
