The Opportunity
We are delighted to present a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to join a prestigious luxury hospitality destination in Ireland.
Working as part of a dynamic Executive Team, the successful candidate will lead a high-performing sales and marketing function, driving commercial strategy, building strong corporate and leisure networks, and consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
This is a hands-on, visible role suited to a commercially driven leader with a passion for luxury guest experiences and brand excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver ambitious sales strategies to maximise corporate, leisure, and group revenue
- Build and maintain a comprehensive client and contact database across key market segments
- Create and present tailored sales proposals to corporate and agency partners
- Strengthen brand awareness through direct marketing campaigns, industry engagement, and attendance at key travel and hospitality trade shows
- Establish and manage an effective sales call cycle for priority accounts, partners, and stakeholders
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategies and targets accordingly
- Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring excellence in account management and client retention
- Lead, motivate, and structure the sales and marketing team, fostering collaboration and high performance
- Work closely with senior management to support annual budgets, revenue forecasts, and marketing plans
- Collaborate with revenue management, operations, front office, and marketing teams to deliver integrated sales initiatives and promotional activity
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior sales and marketing role within 4- or 5-star hospitality
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and delivering against budget targets
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent organisational, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities and respond to market dynamics
- Third-level qualification in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related disciplineWhat’s on Offer
