SimoTech is seeking a Site Transformation Project Manager based in Co. Cork to support the delivery of a site-wide transformation strategy for a leading biopharma client.
Working with the Site Transformation Associate Director and Digital Plant Director, this role will coordinate cross-functional teams and technical leads to deliver integrated project plans, ensure progress against objectives, and drive efficiency and governance in project execution.
You will bring proven experience in managing large-scale transformation initiatives, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to turn complex challenges into structured, results-driven solutions that enhance operational performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Site Transformation Associate Director and Digital Plant Director to deliver the site transformation agenda and its associated programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, integrate, and maintain comprehensive project and program plans.
- Coordinate with technical leads across multiple departments to ensure project objectives are achieved on schedule.
- Drive effective team decision-making, particularly under time-sensitive and high-stakes conditions.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and reports for internal and external partners.
- Proactively identify project challenges and risks, developing resolution strategies aligned with governance and transformation objectives.
- Forecast and manage resource allocation across project workstreams, maintaining adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare project metrics, governance reports, and after-action reviews to support transparency and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement improvements to project management processes, methodologies, and supporting systems.
- Coach and mentor project team members and stakeholders in Smartsheet usage and best practices in project management.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, or Project Management discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing large-scale transformation programs in complex, cross-functional enterprise environments.
- Strong applied knowledge of project management principles and techniques, with PMP certification desirable.
- Proven experience in utilising Smartsheet for program and portfolio management.
- Demonstrated success managing both digital and non-digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience implementing governance frameworks and project reporting standards.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level digital systems and IT/OT integration initiatives.
- Strong track record in delivering enterprise-scale transformation programmes, including resource planning, risk management and benefit realisation.
- Ability to integrate multiple workstreams into cohesive project plans, identifying efficiencies and driving delivery excellence.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading workshops, governance sessions and cross-functional teams.
- Highly organised and analytical, with strong attention to detail, adaptability and learning agility in evolving environments.
