Hotel Night Porter - Full Time hours

The Trinity City Hotel is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Night Porter FT to join our Nights team. As part of the MHL Hotel Collection, The Trinity City Hotel is a boutique four star hotel in the heart of Dublin city centre, just a few minutes stroll from Grafton Street. Home to 262 guest bedrooms; 2 meeting rooms; the Courtyard Restaurant & Brunswick Bar. A great opportunity is now available to join our talented team here at the hotel. Main Responsibilities Ensure that you receive a handover briefing at the beginning of your shift to ensure that you are aware of any special requirements for the night. Carry out porterage and room service duties when required. Provide an excellent service to your customers in the politest possible way by having good hospitality standards. Set up for breakfast and meeting rooms for the next day if requried. Ensure that a complete handover is done with the on-coming shift and that any checklists and tasks have been completed. Provide information to customers on hotel facilities, services and outlet opening times. Bar service & room service to inhouse guests. Carry out security and safety checks throughout the building during the night to ensure that all areas are secure and safe. Service and cleaning of the public areas, toilets and meeting rooms. Follow strict guidelines on the admittance of residents only to hotel after licensing hours. The Ideal Candidate For This Position

• At least 1 year experience in the same role (as Night Porter) within a hotel.
• Previous 4 star background is desirable.
• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
• Professional demeanor and excellent grooming standards.
• Must hold a full driving license.
• Ability to work in a busy & fast-paced environment.
• Fluent level of spoken and written English essential.
