TOM People are exclusively partnering with our a multinational high growth company to identify a Group Financial Accountant to join their finance team, in a newly created role to facilitate growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an early- stage ambitious accounting professional to take on a broad role within a dynamic and growing organisation. Role reports directly into the Head of Finance, with exposure to the senior leadership team.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting
- Supporting the group consolidation process
- Preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Assisting with ongoing projects.
- Assisting with the enhancement of financial controls, processes and reporting capabilities
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and analysis
- Supporting strategic finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE
- Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Advanced Excel skills and strong systems experience preferred
- Experience operating in a multi-entity or group reporting environment would be advantageous
Hybrid working based in Wicklow, 3 days per week.
