We are now recruiting an experienced Parts Person to join our Ace Autobody Coolock team. As a key member of our bodyshop administration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuous availability of parts and materials to support our repair operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate stock levels of paint materials and workshop consumables, including ordering, receiving, and processing deliveries.
  • Source and order parts promptly as required by estimators and the branch manager to support scheduled repairs.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders using the bodyshop management system.
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders and ensure pricing accuracy across management systems.
  • Coordinate daily parts deliveries, collections, and returns with suppliers.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a motor trade parts role, such as a motor factor parts advisor, dealership parts department, parts administrator, or bodyshop parts coordinator.
  • Proven ability to manage parts ordering and stock control systems within a fast-paced motor trade environment.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of automotive parts and bodyshop consumables.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills when working with internal departments, external suppliers, and manufacturers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Full, valid driver’s licence essential.
  • Flexible, proactive attitude to support the demands of a busy bodyshop.

Desirable

  • Technical or mechanical background within the motor industry.
  • Experience using bodyshop management or estimating systems (e.g., Audatex, , Bodyshop Management Systems).

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Technicians have the correct parts available when required, keeping repairs moving through the workshop.
  • Parts orders are accurate and processed efficiently, reducing delays and unnecessary returns.
  • Deliveries are checked carefully against purchase orders to ensure correct parts and pricing.
  • Stock of paint materials and workshop consumables is well managed and never disrupts production.
  • Strong working relationships are maintained with suppliers and internal teams to support smooth workshop operations.
