We are currently recruiting an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Michelin-starred restaurant, The Oak Room. About The Oak Room The Oak Room tasting menu is open to residents and non-residents from Wednesday through Sunday. Our Michelin-starred restaurant, The Oak Room at Adare Manor, offers a refined showcase of the finest ingredients sourced from across the island of Ireland. Under the leadership of Head Chef Michael Tweedie, the team creates elegant, seasonal tasting menus grounded in simplicity, precision, and respect for exceptional produce. Within a beautifully restored oak-panelled room-the former family dining room and heart of the Manor-guests are invited to experience a polished yet relaxed dining journey. We proudly collaborate with a close network of artisan producers, from the vegetable farms of Ballyneety and quail from Birdhill, to Connemara oysters and award-winning cheeses from West Cork, celebrating the very best of Ireland's rich food heritage. Awarded a Michelin star less than two years after opening, The Oak Room remains the only starred restaurant in County Limerick and continues to set the standard for fine dining excellence. The Role As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading and inspiring a highly skilled team to deliver exceptional, Michelin-starred dining experiences. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless service, maintaining the highest operational standards, and fostering a culture of excellence, attention to detail, and guest-centric service. Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of The Oak Room, ensuring flawless service delivery
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to consistently exceed guest expectations
- Maintain exceptional standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness
- Assist in staff training, development, and performance management
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and service flow
- Oversee reservations, guest experience, and service planning
- Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring a positive resolution
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and attention to detail
About You
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a fine dining or Michelin-starred environment is highly desirable
- A genuine passion for hospitality and exceptional guest experiences
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Impeccable attention to detail and presentation
- Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to excellence
