A leading international specialist contractor, delivering projects across data centres, life sciences and high-end fit-out, is looking for a Pre-Construction Engineer to join its Dublin team and lead projects from concept to construction.
What you’ll be doing
- Being the client’s main point of contact and leading the project through pre-construction
- Running design reviews and workshops, from basis of design through to IFC (issued for construction)
- Managing design budgets, the programme, RFIs and the procurement schedule, including flagging long-lead items early
- Working with design, commercial and procurement teams to hand a fully coordinated project over to construction
What you’ll bring
- An engineering or architectural qualification
- Pre-construction or design management experience on design and build projects
- Strong leadership and client-facing skills
- Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD
- An eye for lean, efficient ways of working
