Seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Mechanical) to join a major 200MW Energy Centre project in West Dublin. This is a fast-paced, site-based role offering exposure to large-scale energy infrastructure and a clear progression path within a leading engineering firm.
The successful candidate will play a key role in design coordination, pre-construction integration, and on-site project delivery, working closely with the Project Manager, design teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in the delivery of mechanical engineering works on site
- Coordinate mechanical design development, ensuring constructability and alignment with project requirements
- Manage design coordination between consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Lead pre-construction integration, including technical reviews, sequencing, and method statements
- Oversee mechanical installation activities on site to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance
- Interface with electrical, civil, and commissioning teams to ensure integrated delivery
- Assist with procurement, technical submittals, RFIs, and contractor coordination
- Monitor progress against programme and report regularly to the Project Manager
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Project Engineering experience on site with a construction or engineering contractor
- Proven experience in design coordination and pre-construction activities
- Experience working on power generation, energy centres, pharma, data centres, or heavy industrial projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems within complex industrial environments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
