ALS Life Sciences has a fantastic opportunity for a Sample Registration Administrator to join their team in Clonmel. This role is an opportunity for someone looking to enhance their career prospects and to join a market-leading laboratory in Ireland. General Responsibilities
- Registering customer samples on the lab information management system
- Assist customers with sample submission and testing queries
- Receiving customer phone calls and directing calls to appropriate department
- Responding to customer queries and provide customer support
- Assist with general office duties
- Keeping lab areas clean and tidy
- Handling laboratory samples
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Excellent standards of PC literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Professional phone manner and customer service skills
- Analytical and logical approach with a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to learn
- Able to thrive under pressure and work as part of team in a fast-paced environment
- Interest/background in science would be an advantage but not essential
