Job DescriptionLocation: Anner Hotel, Dublin Road We have an exciting opportunity for an Junior Duty Manager to join our team. About The Anner Hotel The Anner Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in Thurles, mid-way between the cities of Cork and Dublin and is only 1.5 hours from all major cities. In the heart of Tipperary, the Anner Hotel offers great accommodation with 92 guest rooms all tastefully decorated in restful tones, fine casual dining in Ed Bistro and Seasons Restaurant, private dining, conference suites and an extensive award-winning Leisure Centre with an 18-metre pool. The Role The successful candidate will be professional, enthusiastic, and trustworthy. You will demonstrate excellent communicational skills as well as the initiative required to multi-task in this busy environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the member and guest experiences in our leisure facilities. Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the Hotel.
• Ensure quality and standards are met consistently.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage their expectations.
• Assist with the management of the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
• Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments.

RequirementsAbout The Role

• Have previous supervisory experience within the Hotel or Hospitality Industry.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Have a passion for their role within the Department.
• Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike.
• Be capable of excellent up selling all areas of the Hotel, and other hotels in the group.
