Head of IT – Greenfield project in Wexford

Join a growing insurance platform in its first year of trading as it expands its technology capability to support multiple product lines across the market.

This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role where you will take ownership of the company’s core technology environment. You’ll oversee the continued development of underwriting and policy administration systems while supporting the launch of new insurance products including private motor, household, commercial combined and fleet.

In this position, you’ll work closely with underwriting, finance, operations and external partners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The environment is largely greenfield, built on a modern Azure-based stack with a strong build-focused philosophy and extensive API integrations across external data and service providers.

You will:

• Lead the development and evolution of the organization's core insurance platforms
• Oversee API integrations, data flows, reporting and system architecture
• Guide build vs buy decisions while supporting new product launches

Skills / Experience:

• Strong experience leading technology within an insurance or financial services environment
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud-based architectures, APIs and data-driven systems)

Salary / Remuneration:Up to €100k+ benefits.
